This large high-end mixed-use project includes a five-star Westin Hotel with a dramatic two-story paneled lobby, lobby bar, restaurant, conference center and residential condominium lobbies.

A delay in the project’s release date created a very tight, fast-paced schedule requiring constant collaboration and communication between the owner, architect, general contractor and ILEX Woodworking.

The sweeping custom Sapele veneer light wall located in the conference center corridor existed only as a sketch when ILEX Woodworking neared its scheduled installation. Working closely with the architect and contractor, ILEX quickly assessed the material requirements, took field measurements and engineered the design. With approvals in hand, fabrication and finishing were fast-tracked through manufacturing and installation in order to meet the deadline.
